Part-Time Registered Nurse Mother Baby Unit

At Humber River Health, we are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Mother Baby Unit. This role emphasizes assessment, total patient care for antepartum and postpartum women, and support for newborns. Your responsibilities will also include patient and family education. This position requires the ability to work 8 and 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide total patient care for mothers and newborns

• Support and educate patients and families

• Initiate IV therapy for infants and adults

• Document patient assessments accurately

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in Ontario

• BCLS/CPR certification upon hire

• Experience with antepartum and postpartum care

• NRP certification required or to be obtained

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
