Overview
Become a valued Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This role focuses on comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, demanding both expertise and compassion. As a Registered Nurse, you'll play an essential role in assessing, educating, and advocating for CVICU patients.
Responsibilities- Primary assessment and care of CVICU patients
- Implement educational strategies for patient support
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team
- Promote and uphold person-centred care principles
- Engage in patient advocacy and decision-making
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Preferred Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- ICU experience required
- Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Ongoing commitment to skilled development
