As a Registered Nurse, you will implement policies, notify physicians of changes, and coordinate services among holistic healthcare teams. Your expertise in geriatric care will guide, supervise, and support both Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers, leading meaningful shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care’s nursing policies and procedures
• Notify physicians regarding significant resident changes
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for effective service
• Supervise and support nursing staff effectively
• Lead shift reports to update team on residents’ statuses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is essential
• Experience in geriatric/long-term care nursing
• Good standing with the provincial nursing registry
• Knowledge of health acts and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
