Position: CVICU Nurse at Sunnybrook Health Sciences
Elevate your nursing career at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Focus on patient advocacy, assessment, and interventions that support Person-Centred Care.
This role requires an experienced RN with a strong background in CVICU and ICU. You will need a current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses, BCLS certification, and preferably an ACLS certificate. Continuous education and effective communication will be key to enhancing patient outcomes and participating in organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage cardiovascular patients' needs

• Implement and review individual care plans

• Engage in patient education and advocacy

• Work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Operate haemodynamic monitoring equipment
Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Nurses

• BCLS certificate; ACLS preferred

• Critical Care Certificate required

• ICU and CVICU experience mandatory

• Commitment to ongoing education
