Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook
Become a vital member of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Provide compassionate care to patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
As an RN, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care of Operating Room patients. Your key duties will involve assessment, intervention, patient education, and advocacy. You will uphold the principles of Patient-Focused Care, supporting Sunnybrook's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery

• Educate patients and families about procedures

• Advocate for patient needs during surgical processes

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the O.R.

• Implement patient-centered care approaches
Requirements:

• Current Ontario Registration with College of Nurses

• Valid B.C.L.S. Certificate

• Post-graduate O.R. certificate and related experience

• Completed physical assessment course

• Knowledge of Aseptic Technique
