As a vital team member at Michael Garron Hospital, you will utilize your nursing expertise in a progressive care environment. This role requires a Registered Nurse with a current certificate, peri Anesthesia certification, and experience in an acute care setting. Your leadership will enhance patient care through effective interventions, communication, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead care planning and coordination for surgical patients
• Execute pre/postoperative assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
• Participate in unit quality initiatives and improvements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical procedures
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse certification in Ontario
• Minimum three years in ICU, PACU, or ER settings
• Peri Anesthesia Nursing Certificate or equivalent
• Advanced skills in ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
