Join Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, where youll focus on patient-centered care. Your role will include assessment, intervention, and advocacy for Operating Room patients.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for patient care. This position demands current Ontario registration, a B.C.L.S. Certificate, and postgraduate O.R. certification. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adhering to the principles of Patient-Focused Care is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care to Operating Room patients
- Conduct physical assessments and interventions
- Educate patients and advocate for their needs
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary health team
- Support Aseptic Technique in all procedures
- Current Ontario Registration with College of Nurses
- B.C.L.S. Certificate is mandatory
- Postgraduate O.R. certification with related O.R. experience
- Completion of a physical assessment course
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
