Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse

Position: Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse Role
Join Extendicare as a Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse. Deliver patient-oriented nursing care while upholding high standards in gerontology and care coordination.
As a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare, you'll work closely with the Director of Care to provide comprehensive nursing care that is goal-directed and centered around the needs of seniors. Bring your clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and strong communication skills to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned nursing care to residents

• Assess and update resident care/service plans

• Administer medications and document all treatments

• Facilitate family education and care conferences

• Manage significant changes in resident's health status
Requirements:

• Current registration as an RPN in the province

• Experience with seniors and unregulated providers preferred

• Strong critical thinking and time management skills

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required

• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening needed
