Position: Experienced RPN at Baycrest Terraces
Join Baycrest Terraces as an experienced Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in a senior living setting. Provide primary care and health promotion programs tailored to the needs of our residents.
As a crucial member of the Baycrest Terraces Health Centre, your primary goal will be to assess residents' health requirements and implement effective care plans. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions in care for our seniors living in individual suites. Your nursing expertise will be vital for developing programs that promote optimal aging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently assess health needs and develop care plans

• Provide education and counselling to the community

• Triage clients for urgent care needs

• Deliver emergency care as necessary

• Monitor stable chronic conditions in clients
Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current BCLS certification with AED training

• At least 2 years of gerontological nursing experience

• Minimum 5 years in community nursing and acute care

• Proficient in clinical assessment and client communication
