Join Age Care as a Registered Practical Nurse, where you'll contribute to the health and well-being of residents in a supportive long-term care setting. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Registered Nurses and engage with other healthcare providers to ensure that resident cares are prioritized and delivered effectively. You’ll also provide guidance to Personal Support Workers, creating strong teamwork to meet residents’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses on nursing procedures
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and families
• Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
• Report changes in resident conditions to physicians
• Engage in team reporting for consistent quality care
Requirements:
• Specialization in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and acts
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in nursing administration and care
• Strong interpersonal skills within healthcare environments
