Perioperative Registered Nurse at SJHC

Your primary role will involve providing evidence-based, culturally sensitive nursing care while ensuring a seamless perioperative experience for patients. You will coordinate surgical activities in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and enhance nursing practice through education and mentorship. Ongoing competency development is key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient care plans and adjust as needed

• Facilitate effective communication within care teams

• Provide health education using effective strategies

• Organize nursing assignments appropriately

• Document and review care provisions thoroughly
Requirements:

• Must hold a General Class Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in the Operating Room

• Post Diploma RN Perioperative Nursing Certificate required

• Current BLS Certification

• Strong command of English communication skills
