Nursing Care as Registered Practical Nurse

Provide compassionate nursing services as a Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care in North York, Ontario. This dynamic RPN role involves teamwork and direct resident engagement.
As a vital member of our nursing team, you will ensure that residents receive professional care while also guiding Personal Support Workers. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team and address changes in resident health promptly. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our residents in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of nursing care policies

• Liaise with physicians regarding resident health

• Supervise Personal Support Workers' care efforts

• Engage in shift reporting on resident changes

• Alert physicians to any significant health changes
Requirements:

• Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses

• Strong background in long-term or geriatric care

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory acts

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Active member in good standing with the nursing college
