Nurse Practitioner - Acute Pain Services

As a Nurse Practitioner within the Acute Pain Service, you will manage acute pain for patients and actively contribute to improving care standards through research and innovative solutions. Your involvement in guiding other staff will not only enhance the service but also foster a collaborative work environment. You will report to the Operations Director and Medical Chief, ensuring that patient care remains a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical management for patients in acute pain

• Lead the development of care policies and procedures

• Mentor and support interprofessional team members

• Conduct research to advance pain management practices

• Ensure adherence to quality management standards
Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Master’s degree and RN-EC Certification

• Experience in acute pain settings preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Active memberships in nursing organizations
