As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will assess residents, create and evaluate their care plans, and ensure quality nursing practices are adhered to. Leadership is key as you will supervise nursing staff, train new personnel, and monitor resident health closely. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to improving senior care through effective communication and adherence to established policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor resident health and record vital signs
• Develop, implement, and review care plans
• Lead nursing staff and facilitate training
• Organize restorative and palliative care initiatives
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Registration or eligibility with Registered Practical Nurses Association
• Proficient in infection control practices
• Strong communication skills with seniors
• Cantonese or Mandarin language skills preferred
