In this role, you’ll provide essential care to patients with various needs, including general medicine, geriatric, and palliative care. As part of the interprofessional team, you'll coordinate patient care and mentor new hires, leveraging your organizational and critical thinking skills. The role invites candidates to engage in unit projects, enhancing healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide RPN care for various patient populations
• Coordinate care within the healthcare team
• Complete electronic documentation using Meditech
• Participate in unit projects and committees
• Mentor recent hires and nursing students
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited RPN diploma program
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years experience in medical/geriatric nursing
• Current BCLS certification
• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
