Provide specialized foot care as a part-time nurse with VHA Home Health Care in Ontario. Engage with clients to promote healthy foot management and improve comfort and mobility.
VHA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with certification in Advanced Foot Care. This position entails visiting clients in homes and community settings across Central Toronto, focusing on enhancing seniors' foot health and independence. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of managing your schedule while offering essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess foot health and establish care plans
• Deliver individualized treatment and preventive care
• Document all observations and client care details
• Collaborate with the nursing team for quality assurance
• Provide ongoing education to clients and families
Requirements:
• Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Advanced Foot Care Certificate required
• At least 100 hours of experience in foot care
• Valid Ontario G2 or G driver’s license necessary
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
