Join the Family Birthing Centre hael's Hospital in Toronto as a Registered Nurse. This full-time temporary position focuses on safe, effective nursing care and ongoing professional development.
As a cross-trained Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide culturally appropriate care. You will advocate for patients, ensuring successful outcomes while embracing a culture of continuous improvement in nursing practices. The role requires skills in assessment, planning, and patient education to foster a supportive environment in the Family Birthing Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish therapeutic patient relationships
• Organize and evaluate nursing care plans
• Document assessments and care provisions
• Participate in mentoring and teaching within the team
• Contribute to research projects and quality improvements
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BLS Certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
• Fertility & Birth, or Obstetrics nursing experience
• Effective team collaboration skills
• Commitment to complete required certifications
