Elevate patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Focused on gynecological procedures, you'll provide critical nursing support and patient advocacy.
As an RPN, you will offer primary nursing care within the Gynecological Procedure Clinic.
Your role encompasses patient assessment, assisting in non-invasive interventions, and delivering education to patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while adhering to the Patient-Focused Care model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary nursing care in gynecological procedures
• Assist with patient interventions and assessments
• Educate patients on procedures and care
• Advocate for patients throughout their care experience
• Collaborate with the medical team for quality care
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Registration with the College of Nurses
• Recent Operating Room experience required
• BCLS certification and ACLS preferred
• Completion of a post-graduate O.R. certificate
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
