Humber River Health is searching for capable Registered Practical Nurses to join their Nursing Resource Team. Candidates will work in medical and surgical inpatient units, engaging in diverse nursing tasks. This role requires shift flexibility, including rotating schedules on days, evenings, nights, and weekends, making it suitable for those experienced in acute medical/surgical care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer comprehensive nursing care in hospital inpatient environments
• Maintain flexibility for various shift patterns
• Engage in patient health teaching and effective assessments
• Adhere strictly to hospital conduct regulations
• Execute nursing skills such as medication administration
Requirements:
• Recognized two-year Registered Practical Nursing diploma
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• A minimum of 1 year experience in acute care settings
• Proven organizational and patient assessment skills
• Knowledge and application of equity and inclusion in health practices
