This role focuses on various nursing responsibilities, including planning, delegating, and supervising care in designated Resident Home Areas. As an integral part of the interdisciplinary Resident Care Team, you will ensure compliance with the Long Term Care Homes Act and provide compassionate care tailored to individual residents' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, delegate, and supervise nursing care
• Foster resident-centered care and support rights
• Lead and mentor interdisciplinary staff
• Assess residents' health and report to physicians
• Manage inventory and nursing supplies effectively
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse credential from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR and First Aid certification needed
• Minimum one year experience in long-term care
• Flexible to work various shifts including weekends
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
