Join Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Practical Nurse specializing in gynecological care.
Your role is vital in supporting patients through non-invasive procedures and enhancing their care experience.
In this position, you will provide primary nursing services within the Gynecological Procedure Clinic. Responsibilities include patient assessments, aiding interventions, and advocating for patient needs. You’ll work closely with a diverse healthcare team, emphasizing person-centred principles and safety in all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care within the gynecological clinic
• Assess patient conditions and assist with procedures
• Provide educational support to patients
• Strongly advocate for individuals during their care
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Registration with the College of Nurses
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Recent experience in an Operating Room setting
• Completion of a post-graduate O.R. certificate
• Proficient in interpersonal communication skills
