As part of a significant surgical oncology program, your focus will be on patients recovering from surgeries related to gynecology, urology, and head and neck areas. You'll employ your skills in airway management, psychosocial assessments, and flap monitoring, delivering expert care to diverse patient needs. Previous experience in E.N.T. or plastic surgery is a plus, and a preference for critical care qualifications will elevate your candidacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert nursing care for surgical oncology patients
• Monitor and manage airway and flap recovery processes
• Conduct psychosocial assessments for patient support
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain flexible and efficient patient care delivery
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• B.C.L.S certification and E.N.T. surgery experience
• Completed Acute or Critical Care Nursing program preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Computer literacy considered an asset
