Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at MGH

Elevate your nursing career as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Michael Garron Hospital. You will provide comprehensive care for high-risk neonates and their families while adhering to practice standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

This role requires an experienced registered nurse with a current registration and certifications. You will utilize your neonatal nursing skills, including IV management and critical care techniques, in a Level II or III NICU setting. Committed to family-centered care, successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-risk neonates

• Develop individualized care plans based on neonatal conditions

• Perform advanced nursing skills: bloodwork, IVs, and suctioning

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities

• Collaborate with families and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant NICU experience required

• Current B.C.L.S. and NRP certifications

• 21 Hour Breastfeeding Course Certificate

• Knowledge of breastfeeding practices in neonates

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
