Pediatric Ambulatory Care Nurse

Position: Pediatric Ambulatory Care Nurse Needed
Be a part of the dedicated team at Holland Bloorview as a Pediatric Ambulatory Care Nurse, focusing on Feeding & Swallowing and Brain Injury Rehab. Your nursing skills are essential in providing specialized care for children.

As a Registered Nurse, you will engage in both clinical and educational endeavors within the pediatric rehabilitation space. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will assess and manage complex health conditions, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

Your role will also include fostering community connections and sustaining a safe environment for clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care with evidence-based approaches

• Support families in understanding treatment plans

• Track patient progress and coordinate care

• Lead community workshops and educational sessions

• Engage in ongoing professional development and research

Requirements:

• RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least one year of nursing in pediatrics

• Experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred

• BCLS certification required

• Preferred Pediatric Nursing Certification from Canadian Nurses Association
