As a key member of the ICU team, the Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking to advocate for holistic care while adhering to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. You will engage in ongoing education and reflective practice, ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and compassionately.
Your role includes developing care plans, evaluating care effectiveness, and facilitating safe transitions for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient care and learning needs
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Coordinate care activities with inter-professional teams
• Provide health education and resources to patients
• Document assessments and care accurately
Requirements:
• Current General Class Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Critical Care Certification within 6 months or 1 year of ICU experience
• Recent completion of a physical assessment course
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work in teams with diverse professionals
