Position: RPN Needed for Trauma Surgery Unit
Join Unity Health Toronto as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in the Trauma Neurosurgery Unit. This inpatient role supports critical patient care in a fast-paced environment while promoting wellness and safety.

As an RPN, you will engage with diverse patient populations, advocating for their needs while ensuring high-quality, ethical nursing care. This position requires collaborative interactions within an inter-professional team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Your contributions will focus on patient involvement in care planning and continual competency improvement through participation in educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan patient-centered care strategies

• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients

• Coordinate nursing care with interdisciplinary teams

• Conduct patient education using effective methods

• Monitor and document patient care accurately

Requirements:

• Completion of a Practical Nursing Diploma Program

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BLS Certification necessary

• Previous RPN work experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills required
