Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Role
Join the health care team at Sunnybrook as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, providing primary care for trauma patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and advocate for patient needs.

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will report to the Patient Care Manager.

Your role focuses on assessment, intervention, education, and supporting the Person-Focused Care philosophy. Bring your expertise and passion for emergency nursing to this critical position, working along with other health professionals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care for Emergency and Trauma patients

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions

• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

• Advocate for patient-centered care principles

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Two years recent Emergency nursing experience

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Current A.C.L.S. Certification and/or Basic Arrhythmia Course

• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
