Neonatal RN NICU Expertise

Position: Sunnybrook Neonatal RN with NICU Expertise
Provide critical care as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit us on delivering optimal treatment and support to infants and their families.

In this role, you will work under the Patient Care Manager while adhering to guidelines established for neonatal nursing. Experience in Level II or III NICU procedures is essential, along with your ability to communicate effectively with families and a multidisciplinary team. You will strive for excellence in patient-focused care aligned with Sunnybrook's values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients and plan effective nursing interventions

• Educate and support families in their infants' care

• Collaborate with a team to coordinate comprehensive care

• Document and evaluate outcomes of nursing care

• Promote breastfeeding and patient-centered practices

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Nurses

• NICU Level II or III experience required

• Completion of required neonatal courses preferred

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills required

• Ability to manage stress and work independently
