Position: Spectrum Health Wound Care Nurse Role
Spectrum Health Care in Toronto is seeking a part-time Wound Care Nurse to enhance patient outcomes through community nursing. Join a team dedicated to comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence care.
In this role, you will utilize your nursing skills and specialized certifications, such as the IIWCC or NSWOC. You will conduct detailed assessments and create tailored care plans for patients dealing with chronic diseases. Collaborating with colleagues is essential to deliver safe and effective nursing care and address patient needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for patients with chronic wounds

• Create individualized care plans to enhance patient recovery

• Work collaboratively to provide holistic nursing care

• Assess and react to evolving patient needs continuously

• Travel within designated geographical areas to visit patients
Requirements:

• NSWOC certification or IIWCC completion required

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum two years of nursing experience preferred

• Independent management of your caseload expected

• Drivers license and reliable transportation are necessary
