Spectrum Health Care is seeking Foot Care Nurses (RN/RPN) in Toronto to provide specialized care for foot health issues. This role enables you to make a significant difference in patient well-being.
In this nursing position, you will assess and treat patients with diverse foot conditions while emphasizing prevention and best practices. You'll create individualized care plans with a commitment to improving patient outcomes and ensuring a comprehensive care approach through teamwork and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed foot assessments and treatment plans
• Support patients with preventive care and foot condition management
• Help educate on proper foot hygiene and footwear choices
• Enforce strict infection control measures in practice
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient record accuracy
Requirements:
• Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Required Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certification
• Previous experience in foot care preferred
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Valid G driver’s license required for travel
