Position: Registered Nurse for Palliative Care
Join VHA Home Health Care as a full-time Registered Nurse in Scarborough’s Palliative Program. Deliver crucial home care services focusing on pain management and client-centered support.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with diverse teams to provide home nursing to clients requiring palliative care. You will gain skills in the use of PCA pumps and other critical nursing techniques. Ideal candidates demonstrate effective communication, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning as they provide sensitive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate patient care needs

• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans

• Document client interactions rigorously

• Support fellow team members through ongoing training

• Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registered Nurse diploma or degree required

• CPR or First Aid Certification mandatory

• Experience in acute care an asset

• Access to a reliable vehicle for community visits
