Registered Practical Nurse - Endoscopy & Infusion Services

Job Overview

The Kensington Screening Clinic is a state‑of‑the‑art ambulatory GI Endoscopy Centre/Infusion Clinic and Research Centre. We use the latest technology to provide world‑class, individualized and timely care to our patients in need of GI Endoscopy/Infusion Services.

This role is to provide care at the Kensington Screening Clinic and Kensington Infusion Clinic.

• Provide patient‑centered quality care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and integrity policies on all matters involving Kensington Infusion Clinic and Kensington Screening Clinic.
• Maintain accurate and complete records.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and/or recovery of patients.
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑procedures in an endoscopy setting.
• Be accountable for one’s decisions and professional practice.
• Possess good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Be available for shifts Monday to Saturdays on a casual basis.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience in endoscopy, infusion, and gastroenterology.
• Continuous clinical development/competency.
• Evidence of good working ethics and an excellent attendance record.

• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) mandatory.
• Membership in local professional associations.

• Willing to work flex hours to meet facility needs.
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous endoscopy and infusion experience.
