Wound Care Nurse at ParaMed

In this community nursing role, you will perform direct and consultative care while collaborating with Para Med’s nursing team. You'll focus on wound, ostomy, and continence education, clinical support, and best practice adherence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient relationships and evidence-based care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wound, ostomy, and continence assessments

• Educate patients, families, and nursing staff

• Provide clinical support and recommendations

• Lead and participate in wound care initiatives

• Collaborate with stakeholders for optimal outcomes
Requirements:

• NSWOC or IIWCC certification required

• Valid CNO registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience

• Background in community wound care preferred

• Additional certifications may be acceptable
