Acute Care Registered Practical Nurse

Provide person-centred nursing to trauma patients in the acute care setting k collaboratively within a health care team to deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.

As an Acute Care Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you'll be responsible for assessing and planning care for patients and families. Collaborating closely with Registered Nurses, you will implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, culture-sensitive nursing care for patients with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and address patient and family care needs

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments

• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions

• Commit to ongoing quality improvement and professional development

• Collaborate with RNs for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Current RPN registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 1 year acute care nursing experience in trauma

• Current CPR certification

• Experience in post-operative care preferred

• Critical-thinking and teamwork skills needed
