Position: Hemodialysis Registered Practical Nurse Role
Join our inter-professional team as a Registered Practical Nurse specializing in Hemodialysis. Focus on person-centered care to deliver high-quality treatment to in-centre patients.

In this role, you will initiate, monitor, and conclude hemodialysis treatments while conducting comprehensive patient assessments and health education. Your expertise in troubleshooting hemodialysis machines will ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborating with RNs, you'll respond swiftly to patient changes, supporting quality improvement initiatives in our unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and monitor hemodialysis treatments for patients

• Conduct thorough patient assessments for effective care

• Troubleshoot hemodialysis machines as needed

• Collaborate with RNs on patient care decisions

• Participate in quality improvement and research projects

Requirements:

• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• 1 year of hemodialysis experience required

• Post-graduate course in Nephrology preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety and person-centered care
