Join Sunnybrook's team as a Critical Care Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Engage with patients and families to provide vital assessment, intervention, and education.
As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated health care team in a high-pressure environment. Your responsibilities include advocating for critically ill patients while ensuring adherence to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Nursing Practice. A strong focus on Patient-Focused Care drives daily actions and decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the condition of critically ill patients regularly
• Implement nursing interventions and patient education
• Advocate for patients and their families within the team
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team
• Maintain comprehensive records and care plans
Requirements:
• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Current BCLS and preferred ACLS certificates
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• 2-3 years clinical experience in critical care preferable
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in nursing
