Join UHN as a Nurse Practitioner in the Brain Metastases & Gamma Knife program. This full-time role integrates advanced nursing with leadership in a premier cancer care environment. As part of UHN, the top research hospital in Canada, you will function as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Brain Metastases and Gamma Knife treatment.
This autonomy-driven role involves coordinating care, leading multidisciplinary initiatives, and optimizing access to clinical trials. Engage with patients and families to deliver high-quality education and support.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a resource for patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Coordinate care with various specialties effectively
- Facilitate patient access to clinical treatments and trials
- Lead educational initiatives for patients and caregivers
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current NP registration in Ontario (Extended Class)
- Preference for oncology or neuro‑oncology experience
- Solid collaboration skills and autonomous work capacity
- Solid communication with technology proficiency
