As a Wound Care Consultant with Para Med, you will use your expertise to assess and manage patients' needs effectively. This role allows for full-time, part-time, or casual work, offering the autonomy to maintain work-life balance. You will educate our nursing team and families on wound care while collaborating with stakeholders for the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wound, ostomy, and continence assessments

• Educate and support nursing teams, patients, and families

• Provide clinical support and product recommendations

• Participate in leadership opportunities within wound care

• Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders for optimal care
Requirements:

• Advanced certification in wound care

• Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse in a community setting

• Membership with Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada preferred

• Ability to perform BCLS as per standards

• Knowledge of wound care products and assessment skills
