Registered Nurse - Perinatal Care Position

Embark on a rewarding nursing journey in Toronto as a Registered Nurse in our Labour and Delivery unit. Perfect your perinatal skills while contributing to important family milestones. This temporary contract offers an opportunity to work in a maternity center that assists in the delivery of approximately 6,000 babies annually.
Key Responsibilities- Render direct care in Labour and Delivery, and Recovery spaces
- Evaluate fetal and neonatal health through assessments
- Foster communication with patients and the care team
- Educate families on relevant medical procedures and infant care
- Conduct bloodwork and support high‑risk deliveries
- Valid certificate of registration from CNO
- Graduate or near‑graduate from a recognised nursing school
- Current BCLS certification and NRP provider status
- Successful FHSL course completion within 3 months
- Solid interpersonal and critical thinking skills
