Position: Trauma & Neurosurgery Unit RPN Role
Become a vital part of Unity Health Toronto’s Trauma Neurosurgery Unit as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). Focused on inpatient care, this role emphasizes holistic patient support and effective nursing practices.

In this challenging and rewarding position, your main responsibilities will include providing culturally appropriate care to patients recovering from surgical interventions. You will work closely with an inter-professional team to optimize patient care outcomes, establishing relationships that foster trust and cooperation. Continuous learning and self-reflection are encouraged to further enhance your nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality, evidence-based nursing care

• Engage patients and families in care planning

• Document and coordinate care activities effectively

• Adapt to changing patient conditions promptly

• Participate in performance review and mentoring

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Practical Nursing Diploma

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration

• Valid BLS Certification required

• Recent inpatient surgical ward experience necessary

• Proven skills in patient teaching and care management
