NICU Registered Nurse at Humber River Health

Elevate neonatal care as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Humber River Health. This full-time, temporary position focuses on expert assessment and comprehensive patient care for newborns in need.
As part of Humber River Health's Nursing Resources Team, you'll provide vital care for premature and ill newborns from 30 weeks gestation onward. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, supporting families, and planning for discharges. You’ll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for critically ill newborns

• Educate and support parents and families during care

• Facilitate smooth discharge planning for patients
Requirements:

• Current RN registration with Ontario’s College of Nurses

• BCLS/CPR certification required upon hire

• NRP certification needed or to be obtained within 3 months

• Previous NICU experience preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in diverse settings
