Part Time Nurse Practitioner

Bayshore Northern Staffing is seeking a part time Nurse Practitioner in Toronto. Embrace the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services at the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre three evenings a week.

This position entails assessing and treating a diverse clientele, including marginalized groups. The Nurse Practitioner will need a valid unrestricted license from the College of Nurses, along with a strong primary care background, particularly in mental health and addictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical examinations and complete assessments

• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans

• Document medical diagnoses for client records

• Measure and record patient vital signs

• Administer medications and monitor health post-intervention

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care

• Degree or certification in Mental Health or related fields

• Valid Reliability Status security clearance

• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check

• WHMIS Certification within the last two years
