Position Summary
University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Nurse Practitioner in our Krembil Brain Institute (KBI).
Based primarily on our inpatient neurosurgical/spine units, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions in an expanded nursing role demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skill to formulate clinical decisions and appropriately manage patients in the spine surgery group and the broader neurosciences program. As an integral member of the clinical team providing care to this patient population, the NP will also provide leadership in identifying opportunities for improving patient care and provide support, guidance and facilitate the development of knowledge in nursing staff involved in this population of patients.
