Registered Practical Nurse

Adecco, in partnership with our client, is currently hiring a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to support dermatology-focused patient care within a clinical and patient support program environment in Etobicoke, ON.

This role blends hands-on clinical care with patient education and coordination, working closely with healthcare providers, patients, and stakeholders to ensure optimal treatment outcomes and continuity of care.

• Pay Rate: $73,000 - $83,000/year (based on experience)
• Location: Etobicoke, ON
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient assessments, intake, and medical histories
• Perform detailed skin assessments to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist physicians with dermatology procedures (biopsies, excisions, lesion removal, suturing)
• Administer IM and SC medications, injections, and prescribed treatments within scope
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments, instruments, and treatment rooms
• Monitor patients during and post-procedure, recognizing and responding to complications
• Provide patient education on skin conditions, treatment plans, and medication adherence
• Deliver injection training and disease management support to patients
• Document clinical activities, patient outcomes, and maintain accurate medical records
• Support both in-person and virtual patient interactions, including adherence follow-ups
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and service providers
• Assist with patient scheduling and ensure adherence to care timelines
  
  Provide support for patient programs, including enrollment, reimbursement, and coverage renewals
• Identify and report adverse events in compliance with pharmacovigilance guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
• Support continuous improvement of care processes and protocols

• Licensed Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with valid licensing
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• 2-4 years of clinical experience in dermatology (preferred)
• Proficient in administering IM and SC injections
• Experience providing patient education and self-injection training
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Accuro experience is an asset)
• Experience in patient support programs or chronic disease management is a strong asset
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical therapies and product monographs is preferred
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
