As part of the clinical team at the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre, you’ll assess and treat a variety of clients, including families and those facing mental health challenges. This role involves direct patient care and coordination with local health providers, aimed at creating comprehensive treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments
• Maintain and update medical records meticulously
• Measure and record vital signs for all patients
• Administer medications and monitor ongoing treatments
• Provide instructions to other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• At least three years’ experience in a primary care setting
• Degree or certification in Mental Health or related fields
• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner with no restrictions
• Security clearance and VSC needed
• Knowledge in mental health and addictions preferred
