Registered Nurse – Critical Care Focus

Become part of the Critical Care Nursing Resource Team as a Registered Nurse, emphasizing exceptional care for high-acuity patients. Provide crucial support, assessment, and education for critically ill patients and their families.

This pivotal role reports to the Patient Care Manager, working within the ICU and Emergency Department to promote Patient-Centred Care in line with Ontario College of Nurses' standards. Your contribution will significantly enhance patient outcomes through teamwork and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient's critical care needs promptly

• Provide interventions in ICU and Emergency settings

• Educate patients and family about care processes

• Collaborate with health care team members

• Advocate for principles of patient-centered care

Requirements:

• Registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Preferred Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• Critical Care Certificate necessary or relevant experience

• Demonstrate commitment to qualified development
