Age Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead care initiatives and supervise nursing staff within our community. Contribute your expertise to enhance resident care and collaboration with healthcare teams.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in implementing policies and providing supervision to Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers. You will review physician orders, document care accurately, and ensure that residents receive the necessary treatments and medications in line with Age Care protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and direct nursing activities within the home
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident conditions
• Coordinate services for residents and manage care delivery
• Lead nursing shift reports with team members
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Must be registered and in good standing with the provincial registry
• Strong background in long-term or geriatric nursing
• Knowledge of health care legislation and standards
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
