Join Humber River Health as a Registered Practical Nurse on the Nursing Resource Team. This permanent, full-time role is dedicated to enhancing patient care in a dynamic hospital environment with a focus on equity and inclusivity.
In this role based at the Wilson Site, you will work with a diverse team, providing essential nursing services across various inpatient units. Candidates should possess practical nursing credentials alongside acute care experience, patient assessment abilities, and the skill to teach health practices effectively. This position supports a collaborative culture committed to community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing services across multiple medical/surgical units
• Effectively engage in rotating shifts including days and nights
• Conduct patient health assessments and education
• Perform essential nursing skills like medication administration
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma from an accredited Registered Practical Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid BCLS certification required
• At least 1 year experience in acute care preferable
• Strong organizational and health assessment skills
