Elevate resident care at Age Care as an Assistant Director of Care. Collaborate with management to enhance nursing practices, compliance, and documentation in a long-term care environment.
This leadership role reports directly to the Director of Care at Age Care's Long-Term Care residence. You'll work closely with the Registered Staff and the RAI-MDS Coordinator to ensure efficient documentation and compliance with policies. Your expertise in geriatric and long-term care nursing will guide quarterly audits and improve resident care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with management to coordinate resident care activities
• Audit and review documentation for regulatory compliance
• Evaluate resident care continuously for improvement
• Address resident and family concerns promptly
• Ensure ongoing staff training and safety programs
Requirements:
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation and acts
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in personnel administration and nursing
