Part-Time IV Infusion Nurse

This position invites experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) seeking part-time work in community healthcare. You will visit clients in Oakville, Mississauga, Etobicoke, and Toronto, providing essential IV infusion therapy. Successful candidates must be available during weekdays and possess consistent skills for optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-treatment nursing assessments and review physician orders

• Initiate peripheral IV access using aseptic techniques

• Administer IV infusion therapies according to protocols

• Monitor clients and assess for adverse reactions

• Educate clients on treatment plans and potential side effects

Requirements:

• Active registration as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience

• Strong skills in venipuncture and IV therapy

• Current CPR certification and valid Criminal Record Check

• Ability to travel throughout assigned geographic regions
